A Baptist seminary that operates its main campus in Arlington, Virginia, the John Leland Center for Theological Studies offers theology courses to future Christian leaders. Established in 1998, the seminary is overseen by its president, Dr. Mark Olson, who also serves on the board of trustees. The Alma Hunt Library hosts more than 14,000 volumes on a broad spectrum of topics, including Baptist studies, Biblical studies, and missions. As such, students and local clergy utilize the library as a valuable educational resource.
The Alma Hunt Library uses the Verso Library Catalog (VLC) to help students locates volumes. In addition to managing searches based on keywords, book titles, ISBNs, and author names, the VLC helps students monitor due dates, reserve items, and renew books online.
